These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Flat Rate Bookkeeping LLC website, services, and communication programs, including SMS messaging. By accessing our website, engaging our services, or opting in to receive communications from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Flat Rate Bookkeeping LLC provides bookkeeping, payroll processing, sales tax filing, quarterly and annual tax preparation, financial reporting, and related business support services. Service levels and deliverables depend on the package selected by the client.

We do not provide legal advice, investment advice, or certified public accounting (CPA) services unless explicitly stated in writing.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely financial information
  • Respond promptly to requests for documents or clarification
  • Maintain access to required banking, payroll, and financial platforms
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local tax laws
  • Review reports, filings, and financial data for accuracy

Delays or failures in providing required information may result in service delays, incomplete work, or filing issues for which Flat Rate Bookkeeping LLC is not responsible.

3. Payment Terms

Services are billed monthly at the agreed flat rate and will continue until canceled in writing. Charges recur automatically unless otherwise stated.

Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension or termination of services.

No refunds are issued for services already performed.

4. Accuracy of Information

Flat Rate Bookkeeping LLC relies on information provided by the client. We are not responsible for penalties, interest, errors, or damages resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or late information supplied by the client.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flat Rate Bookkeeping LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by the client during the three months preceding the claim.

6. SMS Messaging Terms (A2P 10DLC Compliance)

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive transactional and account-related SMS messages from Flat Rate Bookkeeping LLC at 1 (321) 213-9166.

Messages may include:

  • Account and billing notifications
  • Document and information requests
  • Appointment reminders
  • Onboarding and service updates
  • Bookkeeping, payroll, and tax-related alerts

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You may cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to 1 (321) 213-9166. After you send STOP, you will receive one confirmation message confirming your opt-out. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt in again.

If you experience issues with the messaging program, you may reply HELP or contact us directly at contact@flatratebookkeeping.us.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For questions regarding your mobile plan, please contact your wireless provider.

7. Intellectual Property

9. Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice. All services performed prior to termination remain billable and payable.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Dispute Resolution

The parties agree to attempt informal resolution first. If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in the State of Florida.

12. Changes to Terms

Flat Rate Bookkeeping LLC may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services or communication programs constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
